OGUN-OSHUN RBDA DISTRIBUTES FARM IMPLEMENTS TO FARM PROJECTS

The Ogun-Oshun RBDA has procured and distributed Agricultural farm implements to its farm projects to boost all year farming at its projects across the four states covered by its operations.

The implements procured include 12nos. Planters, 20nos. Harrow Discs, 1no. Ridger and 1no. Complete Plough.

The Managing Director/CEO, Olufemi Olayemi Odumosu while handing over the implements to the selected Project Managers at the Authority’s Headquarters, said the purpose of the procurement and distribution of the farm implements was to boost Agricultural activities at the Authority’s farm projects, increase the Authority's revenue base and ensure security in the country.

Odumosu enjoined benefitting Project Managers to ensure that revenue generated from the usage of the implements is accurately and timely remitted to the Authority's coffers.

He charged them to make judicious use of the implements and ensure they were well maintained and safe guided against fire and theft.

"This is the only way you can justify these allocation and enjoy further support from the

Management", the CEO added.

Benefitting projects include Oke Odan Irrigation project (6nos. Planter); Middle Ogun Irrigation project (6nos. Planter); Itoikin Irrigation project (20nos. Harrow Discs); Iwo Farm project (1no. Ridger) and Igbojaye Farm project (1no. complete Plough).
