The Managing Director/CEO, Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority, (O-ORBDA), Dr. Adedeji Ashiru, has bagged the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE) Fellowship
This was disclosed during the Institution’s 37th International Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Uyo Akwa-Ibom State.
The AGM is the largest convergence of mechanical engineering practitioners, engineering firms, and stakeholders in Nigeria.
In his remarks after the conferment, Ashiru said: “I am deeply honoured and grateful for the conferment of Fellowship by the Nigeria Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FNIMechE). This esteemed recognition is a testament to the institution’s acknowledgment of my modest contributions to the field of Mechanical Engineering. Ashiru went on: “I extend my sincere appreciation to the Council led by National Chairman of Nigeria Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Alhassan Abdu Muhammed an engineer, Members, and the entire NIMechE community for this distinguished honour.”
A few weeks ago, Ashiru was conferred with Fellow of the Nigeria Institution of Water Engineers (NIWE) before this latest fellowship.
