Mr Babatunde Michael Adu is a chartered Accountant with over Twenty four years of professional experience in accounting and management, under the Federal Government Sector in Nigeria with high knowledge of wide variety of accounting solutions.
Born in Emure – Ekiti, Ekiti State of the South Western part of Nigeria on 9th August, 1970. He attended the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, where he obtained both Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration in the year 1992 and 2006 respectively.
He started his working career as Credit Control Officer at the Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) Ota, Ogun State where he was in charge of reviewing bank statements of clients and vouching from client’s account to general ledger.
He joined Ogun -Oshun River Basin Development Authority in the year 1996 from where he rose through the rank to the position of Director of Finance till date.
He acted as the Executive Director ( Finance & Administration) at the Authority in the year 2020
Presently as the Director overseeing the Finance & Administration Directorate of the Authority, he ensured amongst other the preparation of audited financials and bank reconciliation statement of the Authority, coordinates of bills/ fund disbursement and payment via GIMFIS and Remita to approved beneficiaries, utilisation of approved allocations in line with the approved standards of financial rules and regulations.
He also monitored implementation and performance of approved budget provision and reporting areas of variance, keeping and maintenance of proper and up till date accounting records of the Authority in line with the laid down rules and regulations and maintaining regular contacts with the Accountant General of the Federation’s office on accounting related issues.

He is a member of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN)
