ASHIRU LAYS FOUNDATION FOR NEW MD/CEO’S OFFICE … LAUDS PREDECESSORS

The Managing Director/ CEO, Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority, Engr Dr. Adedeji Ashiru FNSE FNIMechE FNIWE on Monday turned the sod for the MD/CEO office at the Authority’s headquarters in Abeokuta Ogun State.

During the event, Ashiru said, ” It is my profound privilege to lay the foundation stone for the iconic MD/CEO office building.

“This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in our authority’s history as we embark on a new chapter of growth, development, and service delivery,” he said.

Ashiru added that the MD/CEO office building represents more than just a physical structure, ” it symbolizes our commitment to excellence, transparency, and accountability. This edifice will serve as a beacon of hope, inspiring our staff to strive for greatness and driving our mission to harness the Ogun-Oshun River Basin’s potential for sustainable development.

“As we break ground today, we pay tribute to our predecessors, whose tireless efforts have laid the foundation for our success. We also acknowledge the invaluable support of our stakeholders, especially the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR
The construction of this building will not only provide a conducive work environment for our staff but also create jobs, stimulate local economic growth, and enhance our authority’s visibility.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the contractors, consultants, and workers who will be involved in this project. Your expertise, dedication, and hard work will be instrumental in delivering a world-class facility that meets our expectations.

“As we embark on this exciting journey, I urge everyone to remain committed to our shared vision of transforming the Ogun-Oshun river basin into a hub of economic growth, social prosperity, and environmental sustainability.

“May this foundation-laying ceremony mark the beginning of a brighter future for our authority and the communities we serve,” he concluded.
